Deer Heart.....

October 17th 2015

A **NEW** Stamp Set Release today at JessicaLynnOriginal - "Love You Deer"!!

I've made some tags and a couple of xmas cards using the stamps from this set - a very versatile set - I know I say it all the time but I love stamps that have multiple uses so you really get your value!!

Both tags have ink spray backgrounds and then I added some washi tape in co-ordinating colours plus some sticky mesh and muslin cloth strips tied through the hole at the top. I stamped one image with brown ink & the other with black and then coloured them both with my new pastel pencils which I have been having fun with! I used sentiments from the stamp set to finish off these tags.

The cards below were made with some great digital patterned paper from Yellow Lemons Etsy Store - just love these grungey tattered style papers - good for xmas creations! These were coloured with pastel pencils too and I made the sentiments on the computer. The little xmas hats I added to these images are clipart files available from SLS Lines Etsy Store - perfect for turning any image into a xmas image!

Make sure you visit the rest of the DT and see what they have done with this stamp set - I love that we all have different styles and interpretations of using stamps - makes for lots of inspiration!!

Tree of Life Tag!

October 16th 2015

A fun tag made using an image from Vera Lane Studio!! Just love Janet's quirky images! Janet gave us a "prompt" awhile ago to "scribble" on our tags so I used my little mixed bottle of black acrylic paint to do the swirls and wording on the tag background then added sticky mesh and the chalk coloured tree to the front of the tag! Quick & easy which is great when you want to create in a hurry LOL!!

Image coloured with Pastel Pencils and background of the tag was some scrap "mopping up" kitchen paper with ink sprays. Added some Silhouette cut files - the cobweb and "boo" wording, some string at the top and all done!!

Let's see your spooky creations - we would love to see some SLS Lines images used on your entries so why not visit the Etsy Store and nab some and get creating!

Life is a Journey......

October 9th 2015

A new challenge at the Spellbinding Stamps Blog and the them this fortnight is to use "2 mediums" - a great theme and perfect for those of you who love mixed media!!

I just love this Nikki Burnette stamp "Morrigane" - so beautiful and perfect for my mixed media journal page. I've used gel medium, ink sprays, water pastel crayons and also Copic Markers to colour the image - so lots of mediums on this page to suit the challenge theme!!

We had such a great lot of entries for our first challenge and we hope to see just as many for this challenge!! You don't have to use a Nikki Burnette image but we love it when you do!! Lots of chances to win some images from the store so make sure you link up!

Here's a link to the Etsy Store where you can see all of these amazing images!! And remember there is also a FB Group where you can share your Spellbinding Stamps creations too!

Trick or Treat!

October 7th 2015

Halloween must be coming for those that celebrate! We don't really celebrate here but I still love to create Halloween themed things!!! This week at the Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge Blog we have a Trick or Treat theme with Sami Stamps as our sponsor! The little circle Trick/Treat & Spider collage images are from Gecko Galz. The ATC background is a piece of paper towel that I have been using to "mop up" excess sprays as I have been creating my journal pages - makes a perfect background!!

A Franken"Owl" LOL!!!

October 4th 2015

I just love this card I made with "Brentwood Owl" dressed as Frankenstein LOL!!! He is from a great spooky set of stamps available from JessicaLynnOriginal - check him out plus all the other sets available!! And the tombstone cross stamp is part of the set as well.

Patterned papers are from Tsunami Rose - "Witches Brew" - perfect for Halloween coming up and are available a the Etsy Store!!

Black die cut shapes were cut on my Cameo Silhouette and were perfect additions for this gothic style card! Brentwood has been coloured with Copic markers and the tombstone cross had a red ink pad dragged across it. so happy with how this turned out - and we really don't celebrate Halloween here in Australia but it is so much fun to make spooky creations!!!

NEW Planner Stamp Sets....

October 3rd 2015

Two great new "Planner" Stamp Sets available at JessicaLynnOriginal and this weekend the DT are "showcasing" their makes with these sets! and you will se how versatile these stamps are - not just for planners but anything as you will see I have made ATC's and Tags!!

I made these ATC's with ink sprays and stamps from the Planner Stamp Set (there is also a "Baby" Planner set too!!!)

The little tags were made with scrap paper and paper towel I had used for mopping up excess spray inks and I stamped directly onto them and added  the wording stamps on white card.

Other DT members have made sticky notes, cards - lots of different ideas so make sure you check out these stamps in store now! For links and ideas visit the JessicaLynnOriginal Blog!!!
