A Bird Challenge

May 6th 2012
Ali Manning at Vintage Page Designs is having a "Bird Challenge" to coincide with the release of her Vintage Page Bird Kits and she would love to see what you can create - click here for all the details and the chance to win a great prize from Ali.

I'm sharing my decorated notebook using pages from Ali's Bird Kit and also seam binding ribbon from Ali as well - I used the seam binding to make the flower. Make sure you check out Ali's Blog and the other Guest Designers creations!

Here is the notebook I "altered" - I actually pulled it all apart so I could cover it properly then wound the spiral back through the spine and added a few beads as I was winding it back on!

wow getting that spiral back on must have been extremely difficult Sharon. Wonderful cover, so love it. x

Gorgeous! Love the texture and love that you added beads on to the spiral. Did it try your patience getting the spiral back on?!

This is beautiful. It would be a great journal to record when the birds come back each year. I love watching the birds.
