Man's Best Friend......

December 13th 2017
Sharing a mixed media journal page for the current challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Blog "V is for Vegan" - a fun theme all about animals - obviously!!!!!!!!!!

This page was also created as part of my journaling "lessons" with Lisa Vollrath this year - had a lot of fun each month creating journal pages! this one was a "two" colour theme! I've used collage images from my most favourite Etsy Store "Art Tea Life" - I'm a huge dog lover so this sheet was just perfect for me to create with!

Journal page background was created using pages from an old puzzle book, plus sticky mesh, paint, stencil, washi tape, bit of muslin cloth, computer generated wording and of course the collage images!

Dog's are man's (and woman's) best friend!!!!!

Peace is Always Beautiful...

December 11th 2017

Sharing a mixed media journal page today using brand new digis by Vera Lane Studio - "Peaceful Picasso" set!

Background texture was made up with patterned serviette and washi tape plus texture paste through a stencil, water soluble crayons and some ink sprayed muslin cloth.

Digis coloured with Copic makers and fussy cut. Wording is also a part of the digi set available in the Etsy Store.

Steamy Pocket Letter...

December 9th 2017

Sharing a mixed media "Steampunk" Pocket Letter made for a swap and also to join the current "I is for Industrial" challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Blog!!!!

Collage "steampunk" digis are by Gecko Galz "Industrial Digital Stamps" - just love them and they were perfect for this pocket letter! Always so hard to photograph pocket letters with the shiny pockets!

I made the background with steampunk gears cut on my Cameo and adhered to a black card background. I added lots of metallic sprays and paints and then cut the 9 x ATC's to size for the pockets. Gecko Galz images were printed on kraft coloured paper and fussy cut and added to the backings with bits of muslin cloth and charms. I really love the colours and how it all turned out!

Xmas with Vera Lane Studio.....

December 2nd 2017

Sharing some xmas themed cards today using fun digis by Vera Lane Studio!! This first card is an altered 5 x 7 index card using "Hayes" one of the quirky "Dark Corner" characters available - I gave him some xmas cheer with the xmas hat from the new "Holiday Doodle Bundle".

This next card I cut to 6 x 4 size from a decorated card i received in an Aussie Group Swap - i added the washi tape, mesh and sequins plus the "mixed up" digi which uses bits from several different Vera Lane sets!! LOL a bit of a weird character!
